I like to read a LOT of different genre's....I like to keep my options open and I'm pretty much always open to learning new things.  But right now the genre that is really tripping my trigger is paranormal romance...specifically VAMPS.  It just sucks me in!

What makes up your non-human family??

I have 2 dogs, Gus and Laci (who you can see in my blog header at The Book Junkie's Bookshelf) and 2 $.28 feeder goldfish that refuse to die...that's ok too.  I enjoy feeding them

I wasn't particularly pleased with the first story in Four Play.  I thought that the sex kind of got out of control and I had NO problem saying it in my review of that story.

What do you do besides reading / reviewing as a hobby??

For me I like to watch movies, cook, travel (I REALLY want to go to Ireland!) and use my digital camera.  I also like to snuggle in my nice warm bed with my two dogs Augusta ("Gus) and Laci.

I recently read my first M/M story by Lauren Dane called Finding Home.  I thought that it was pretty good for my first ever M/M read.

I actually have two for this week 1. Reckless by Maya Banks (a younger woman and an older guy, who happens to be a HOT cop.  He's trying to resist her and she's making it VERY difficult.) and 2. Lady Sings The Blues by Mallery Malone (a former exotic dancer and a BLIND - he's really good with his hands - musician get together.  But is he after the exotic Alina or the REAL Alina?)  Both are scorching spontanious panty combustion reads.  Reviews coming shortly!

Here on Nitty Gritty I've been blogging for about a month.  I'm still trying to get things all figured out around here on the blog.

The question for this week is: "Since Thanksgiving is coming up next week, let's use this week's Hop to share what we are most thankful for and what our holiday traditions are!"

I'm thankful for this great blogging community.  I sometimes do a lot of bitching here on The Book Junkie's Bookshelf when I don't understand something about our community and there are always bloggers out there who are willing to put their perspective out there for me to read.

Family wise....I'm thankful that my brother's wedding went off with out any problems. We have a few people in our family who are "Wild Cards" and we were a little bit worried.  I'm not really sure what the plan holds for the actual Thanksgiving Day but I know there's TONS of yumminess headed my way!

Honestly, I would love to have one of those new NookColor e-reader's but I'm really happy with the one that I have.  I just need to get a new battery for it.  It get's a LOT of use.

The question for this week is:

If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?

This one is easy peasy for me.  I would want my daughter to books like Little Women, The Little House on the Prairie books, Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys, Where The Red Fern Grows (one of my favorites and I cry everytime!).  There are so many that it's hard to narrow it down to just one or two!

So far I haven't had a problem getting involved with the books that I read for this blog.  On my other blog I tend to lean towards the "50 page rule".  If I'm not feeling better about the book in the first 50 pages I move on to my next title.

Question of the week: What is your reading suggestion this week?

My suggestions for this week are:

For the e-reader's out there I recommend Reno's Chance by Lora Leigh. I just reviewed it and I thought it was pretty HOT! I think that it was really good even with a few cheesy moments.

For those who like to read books in actual book form...I recommend Devil May Cry by Sherrilyn Kenyon.  LOTS of yumminess since one of the main characters is a fertility god.

Now a little bit about my blog....This is my second blog actually.  I also review books on my other blog The Book Junkie's Bookshelf.  But here I read and review pretty much all types of romance and erotica. This is my brand new blog where I read and review romance and erotica on all sorts of subject matters (I'm pretty new to paranormal romance but I'm venturing further into the category.)
